User may be asked to provide personal information anytime there is interaction with the site. The types of information collected depends on use of services. Information will apply to all usage. The following types of information may be collected by or on behalf of MSL:

  • Contact details. name, address, telephone number, email address, etc.

  • Children’s data. Our website is directed to and intended for use only by

Notification data such as when users register for events and/or communicate with MSL by email, telephone, surveys, in writing, or social media;

  • Providing services. Services may include providing user with event notifications if elected to sign up, or other notification service that user may request.
  • Marketing. Sending emails or other communications request regarding news and new services and providing users with relevant advertising.

We offer the use of a secure server with SSL encryption on our website’s domain. Consumer information stored in our database is only accessible by authorized users.

Thank you for using website.   Website is provided by MSL, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, private organization, located at 911 S. State Street, Lockport, IL 60441. 

By using website, user is agreeing to these terms. Please read them carefully. 

 

Using Website 

User must follow any policies made available to user within the website. 

Do not misuse website. For example, do not interfere with our website or try to access it using a method other than the interface and the instructions that website provides.   User may use website only as permitted by law, including applicable export and re-export control laws and regulations. Website may suspend or stop providing access to website to user, if user does not comply with terms or policies or if misuse causes investigating suspecting misconduct. 

 

Using website does not give user ownership of any intellectual property rights to website or the content user may access.  User may not use content from website unless users obtain permission from its owner or are otherwise permitted by law. User agrees to submit to the nonexclusive personal jurisdiction of the courts located within County of Will, Illinois. User waives any and all objections to the exercise of jurisdiction over user by such courts and to venue in such courts. 

 

Arbitration 

Any claim or controversy at law or equity that arises out of or relates to this website or these Terms of Service (each a “Claim”), shall be resolved through binding arbitration conducted by telephone, online or based solely upon written submissions where no in-person appearance is required. MSL’s Option to Litigate 

Alternatively, at MSL’s sole option, a Claim (including Claims for injunctive or other equitable relief) may be adjudicated by a court of competent jurisdiction located in City of Joliet, County of Will, Illinois. 

 

No Consolidation 

Any Claim shall be arbitrated or litigated, as the case may be, on an individual basis and shall not be consolidated with any Claim of any other party whether through class action proceedings, class arbitration proceedings or otherwise. 

Limitation on Time to File Claims 

 

ANY CAUSE OF ACTION OR CLAIM USER MAY HAVE ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OF USE OR THE WEBSITE MUST BE COMMENCED WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR AFTER THE CAUSE OF ACTION ACCRUES, OTHERWISE, SUCH CAUSE OF ACTION OR CLAIM IS PERMANENTLY BARRED. 

 

Waiver and Severability
